Robert brings decades of experience across the fuel supply chain, including refinery operations, product trading, wholesale distribution, dealer networks, and logistics. He has also owned and operated a retail and fuel logistics company, providing him with practical insight into operational, financial, and customer service demands throughout the industry.
For the past nine months, Robert has served as Chief Strategy Officer, collaborating with our executive team to implement significant operational and structural improvements. His leadership has strengthened internal processes, improved departmental alignment, and positioned ARG Petro for disciplined, long-term growth.
As CEO, Robert will prioritize operational excellence, safety, strategic expansion, and preserving the strong culture that has defined ARG Petro since 1942. He combines strategic vision with hands-on execution to ensure growth does not compromise service or integrity.
Illan Arguindegui will remain President, working with Robert to advance the company’s long-term strategy and reinforce our commitment to employees, customers, and partners.
